This bold new range of textiles, inspired by the fun and frivolity of the 1980s, is an exciting collaboration between Move-in’s Zahava Elenberg and design legend Lisa Gorman.

Drawing on their inner 80’s teens, Zahava and Lisa have created a nostalgic homage to the iconography, colours and flavours of the era. The Super-Graphic Collection will be produced by Warwick Fabrics, available exclusively to Move-in clients for high-volume projects, offering something unique, exciting, and thoroughly Australian.

This collection expands on our interest in the unexpected and ideas around illusion and bold repetition; with a combination of hand drawn and vectored graphics inspired by the fun and frivolity of the 80’s, and the lexicon of design.

The Team

Zahava Elenberg × Lisa Gorman

Founded by Zahava in 2002, Move-in is Australia’s leading FF&E studio, specialising in creatively inspired and commercially driven turn-key fit out solutions for the Multi-residential, BTR, Student Accommodation and Hotel sectors.

A globally recognised name within the design industry, Zahava co-founded the award-winning architecture practice Elenberg Fraser in 1998, before adding Move‑in to her stable. She left Elenberg Fraser in 2015 and has focused on cementing Move-in as Australia’s go-to FF&E consultancy for high volume projects.

Lisa Gorman is best known for her vibrant and collaborative designs for one of Australia’s most recognisable fashion labels, Gorman, which she founded in 1999 before departing in 2021.

She has since taken on a new role as Creative Director to rebrand stationery icon kikki.K. During her 22 years as creative director, her eponymous fashion label has grown into one of Australia’s most distinctive and recognisable fashion brands. Lisa has continued to work on her visual art project Fluorescence, exhibiting in her hometown of Warrnambool.

The Collection

The Super-Graphic Collection is produced in collaboration with Warwick Fabrics — a family owned, Melbourne based company that has grown into one of the world’s leading fabric and textile wholesalers.

The Collection is available on commercially graded fabrics from Warwick’s collection — suitable for a range of uses including upholstery, drapery, cushions, lamp shades, roman blinds and bedspreads.

The Stories

The three stories that make up the collection; Game On, Space Invaders and Different Strokes, play with scale and monochromatics with each story comprising three signature patterns.

All three stories are available in black & white Monochrome, and the Double Trouble colour palette: Sunnyboy, Banana Split, After Dinner Mint, Double Denim, Hubba Bubba.
