Spring News 2022

As we all race towards the 2022 finish line (where did the year go?), the studio has been busy with a range of exciting new design and turn-key FF&E projects.  With our Queensland team and Surry Hills digs, we have a lot of ground to cover.  From boutique hotels to BTR, cafés and office spaces – we have seen a surge in new projects and are excited to bring these to life.

As part of our enhanced ESG strategic plan, we are thrilled to be partnering with Ecologi and have embedded carbon offsets and environmental initiatives into our studio and outfitting processes; offering clients a range of options to include in their FF&E scope as well.

Supporting local, thinking about life cycle and sustainable design, and how we manage waste are all part of the Move-in design process.  Working with our clients to deliver the very best design, as well as a commercial and socially responsible outcome has been key in our expansion and will continue to drive our FF&E philosophy into the future.

Move-in × Home Richmond

246 Church Street Richmond is the latest project by Build-To-Rent pioneer Home; delivering 368 apartments to the burgeoning sector in Melbourne, and adding to their pipeline of BTR projects around Australia.

Our studio supplied end-to-end FF&E for the project with a clear objective to support local designers and makers, and with a focus on inspiring community interaction and a sense of home within the myriad social spaces.

We were proud to work with the wonderful project team at Home, who are committed to providing the highest level of amenity to their residents, and truly value the philosophy of community living.  We look forward to collaborating with Home on their next projects.

Move-in × Melbourne Marriott

Earlier this year, Marriott Bonvoy launched M Club – a members only lounge at selected Marriott Hotels, with the M Club at Marriott Melbourne the first to open in Australia, following a $1.1 million dollar refurbishment. We worked with the team at M Club to bring the space to life with styling and accessories to reflect the intimacy and exclusivity of the lounge and dining areas.

Move-in × The Sebel Canberra

Working with national asset manager and real estate investment firm ProInvest, we designed and delivered FF&E for the 63-room refurbishment of the Sebel Hotel in Canberra. Taking the warm and earthy tones from the Australian landscape, we provided a suite of custom made and cost efficient furniture including bedheads, case goods, upholstery, styling and artwork for this busy hotel in the popular Campbell 5 district.
